The board of directors of CT Humanities has awarded Learning in Retirement — Stamford a project grant of $2,700, which will be used to help fund a pre-trip class on abstract art and aesthetics and a bus trip to the New Britain Museum of American Art. At the museum, a docent will lead a group of up to 40 people through “Modern Women: Visionary Artists” and other exhibitions. Individuals will have time to explore the museum on their own. After the trip, a panel will present to the larger community about what was seen and learned.
More information will be available in our spring 2025 catalog.
